Capstone Group - became a member of Globalize in the direction of development of startups. Globalize is an association of professional Georgians who work outside of Georgia and help Georgian exporters and startups to connect with professionals and develop. As part of this collaboration, Capstone Group was in US and attended annual Silicon Valley Conference, where Georgian startups and exporters met investors gathered in Silicon Valley face to face. Cooperation with Globalize will allow Capstone Group to further expand its area in this direction and help Georgian startups and exporters to develop and establish themselves in the market abroad.

Capstone Group is implementing a Lean Methodology project aimed at improving the customer experience in Terabank, the 4th biggest bank in Georgia. At the initial stage of the project, we created a team from the staff of Liberty Bank, which, in addition to studying the lean methodology, will also be involved in the implementation phase. This is the main principle of the methodology, allowing the team to find the internal pain points themselves and deal with them. The planning phase has been completed at this point, and the implementation phase begins.

Capstone Group is carrying out a Lean Methodology project in Evex Clinic which is the number one medical center chain in Georgia to create more value for their internal and external customers. The essence of the methodology is to help the organization with the engagement of their employers, that have better knowledge about the problems inside. Hence, a pilot team has been created with the Evex stuff, that will engage in every phase of the lean methodology. After the successful completion of the planning phase, we are moving to the implementing phase where tangible results will be seen in terms of sales, productivity, and efficiency.

Lean methodology training was provided to a team of 10 top Liberty Bank employees who will then train further levels of the organization on Lean methodology and develop the skills necessary to apply the methodology in practice. The service process included a training program, seminars and workshops. After completing the theoretical training and practical exercises, the CG, together with the Lean Team, moved to the project implementation stage of two parallel projects to ensure the successful application of the knowledge gained from the training sessions by the Lean Team.

Capstone Group, in cooperation with the Catski company, is launching a project in the direction of adventure tourism and hospitality. The Catski company has been operating in the local market since 2007 and offers various types of services to adventure tourism lovers. The purpose of the mentioned project is to build a powder ski resort type hotel. Together with the company Savvy, a business plan and financial model was created in order to develop this type of business. At this stage, investments and financing are being sought. Initially, the complex is planned to be built in two locations, Bakhmaro and Racha.
